About the Recipe

Whether raw, local honey or a good quality Manuka honey, it can carry some truly ingredient health benefits

⁉️ Is it safe to give?
Yes! It is actually a bit of a myth that dogs can become ill after it. Raw Pet Medics on 27th July 2021 advised the risk of bacteria in Raw honey is negligible, if it is stored in a container where it can ferment then there is a risk yes, but honey is a well-known anti-bacterial and anti-fungal product. It has a low moisture content too making it harder for bacteria to grow, so any illness seen is likely to be from another source not the honey itself. Feed as an occasional treat, use your judgement on how much to give, never feed this to a diabetic dog though due to the sugar content
