Ingredients

½ cup of coconut flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

2 large eggs

½ cup of pumpkin puree (ensure it’s pure and unseasoned, never use pie filling)

2 tablespoons of olive oil

¼ cup of plain water

optional: full fat natural greek yoghurt

optional blueberries & raspberries

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a small baking tin or cupcake tray.

Mix dry ingredients: Combine the coconut flour and baking soda in a mixing bowl.

Prepare wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then mix in the pumpkin puree and olive oil.

Combine: Gradually mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Add the water slowly while stirring to achieve a smooth, thick batter.

Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for about 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.

Cool: Let the cake cool completely before serving to your furry friend.

Optional Frosting:

Spread natural full fat Greek yogurt on top for a creamy dog-friendly finish. You can also sprinkle a few blueberries or raspberries for an extra healthy boost
