Prep Time:

Cook Time:

10 Minutes

Level:

Beginner

About the Recipe

Some vegetables of course are better than others. As root vegetables are high in sugars, albeit natural, it is advisable to avoid these in the event of an itchy or yeasty dog or a dog needing to lose a little weight. These include: Carrots, Sweet Potato. Squashes / Pumpkin, Beetroot. In dogs with no itching or weight issues we recommend minimal feeding of these. Can be fed daily where you are not feeding products with plant matter in already

Mix prepared ingredients together

You may choose to add Caffeine Free Green Tea to this mixture to make it mix easier and enhance the powerful blend further. Some of the potential benefits of green tea are:

Green tea undergoes minimal oxidation when it’s processed, which some argue helps its cancer-fighting powers

Green tea has antioxidant properties

Once the mixture is ready, pour into moulds to freeze. There is no set limit but the general rule of thumb is 10% of the diet can be fed as vegetables and other plant matter
