Mushroom Tea

About the Recipe

Using any mushrooms that are safe for humans to eat, you can make a deliciously nutritious tea for your dog. Feed roughly 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon a day depending on the size of your dog Feed 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon daily depending on size of the dog. Store in the fridge for up to a week

Ingredients

1 litre of water

mushrooms of your choosing as long as they are edible for humans, they are for dogs


Preparation

Break up / roughly chop the mushrooms.

In a 1 litre pot of water, drop in a handful of the chopped mushrooms and bring to the boil

Reduce to a simmer for at least an hour to release more of the bioactive ingredients

Strain the tea & serve once cooled

Notes:

Some choose to reuse the mushrooms several times. If doing this, store in the fridge in a mason jar between uses, BUT leave the lid off
