About the Recipe

Bananas are a safe and healthy treat for dogs, offering a variety of benefits. They are a good source of essential vitamins such as potassium, vitamin C, and vitamin B6, which can support a dog's overall health and wellbeing. Bananas are also a great source of fibre, which can aid in digestion and promote a healthy gut. Additionally, bananas can serve as a natural energy booster for dogs, making them a great snack for active pups. Just be sure to feed bananas in moderation to avoid any potential digestive issues. Feed as an occasional treat

Ingredients

1 Ripe banana

1 cup of plain full fat yoghurt

2 tablespoons of 100% nuts peanut butter (avoid any additives especially palm oil and xylitol)

Preparation

Blend the banana, peanut butter and yoghurt until smooth

Pour into ice cube moulds or even make real popsicles using something like this with your dogs favourite chew stick

Freeze until solid

Serve as a cooling snack on a hot day
